It's like a sacrifice to the Skin God...
My new skin treatment really feels like some form of ancient sacrificial ritual to me. It's kind of amusing. I'm appealing to the Skin God or Goddess for mercy or something. I always do it the same way 2-3 times a day. Listen to how it goes.

I undress, and depending on the time of day, shower. After this sort of cleansing ceremony, which now must take no longer that 15 minutes and must be in medium temperature water, I towel off. Next, I apply a basic moisturizer to my whole body. Following that, I treat certain sections with a stronger, hi-tone based cream, mostly my face and arms. I then apply a special thick, greasy medication to my legs. I then dress or put on pajamas, again, depending on the time of day. Finally, I fill my cold-mist humidifier with water and start the mist-ical machine. I feel like there should be a dead lamb or something involved in there somewhere.

Writing it now, I realize it almost reminds me of Patrick Bateman of American Psycho. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Still, as long as I get good skin out of the deal, I will be pleased. I just hope the ancient skin gods are listening...
