while i'm really glad i've decided to stay for a second year here, i realized something kind of strange. several of my male friends are staying, and both the guys right in my own town will be here, but every one of my female friends is leaving in august. chances are they'll all be replaced by new girls, but still. not having a single girl friend on this side of the world will be kind of weird! makes me hope even more i get the orientation assistant gig, so i can meet new folks as soon as possible!

i want to have as much fun with them as i can now though, so i'm really looking forward to the trip next week to Spa World and the !!! show. we'll rock the o-saka like never before!

also, totorojo, this means it'd be great to meet up sometime soon! hope we can work it out!

Would you still be working for your program (which I believe is JET, correct)? A friend of mine committed for another year a few years back and he loved it even more.

Yeah, I'm doing a second year with the JET Program. I've got such a sweet setup here that I know I'd regret it if I didn't stay on as long as possible.

I read this post yesterday, and I had never heard of !!! before, but I took note because, clearly, it's an unusual name. Then, last night, my roommate's friend was over, and she was going throug his CDs and he said "Oh, that one with the three exclamation points, that's 'chick chick chick'." I thought it was really odd. I told him you were going to see them in Japan, and I had never heard of them before that. He agreed that it was weird.

Anyway, have fun with the show and Spa World (which sounds awesome)! Hope all is well. :)

Hello! Sorry for the lateness again - I've been away from the computer all week.

Well, if the 17th/18th works for you then maybe we should aim for then :)

As for places... That's a good question. I don't drive but I'm happy to travel anywhere by train. It sounds like you're fairly close to Osaka...? I've never been there, so if you know anywhere interesting there that would be cool. Or if you have any other ideas that would be just as good for me. I'm easy really (and all out of inspiration >_<).
