From this program, I learned about a man who spent fifteen years analyzing the tree rings of Scottish oaks (mind you, ONLY Scottish oaks), and has traced history back 7,500 years from studying the width of each and every band.
Which is worse, the fact that this man looked at nothing but Scottish tree rings for 15 years, or the fact that I find it utterly facsinating?
I also think I've exhausted livejournal's emotional synonyms for "loser".
