L'arc~en~Ciel lunatic, Part II

It's true, I'm still as crazy as ever for this band. Hell, I even made my own T-shirt in silk screening to show off my support. When asked what it means, I say "In French, it means 'rainbow', and in Japanese, it means 'kickass rock band.''' ^_^

I recently heard really great news about this band, and being the fanatic, I shall share it with everyone. Rumor has it, and I've been told by others it's true, that L'Arc~en~Ciel has been commissioned to do the opening song for the Final Fantasy movie coming out here in America the thirteenth of July. My reaction was (in Japanese) "Really? ALL RIGHT!!"

Larku (as the Japanese fan populus calls them) has done the themes to lots of shows before, such as Rurouni Kenshin, Rurouni Kenshin the Movie, D.N.A^2, and Great Teacher Onizaka, so it's not a a first for the band. However, it is the first time some of their work will appear in a major American motion picture release. I'm really hoping it's something that will catch American attention. It would be blissful to be able to buy a L'Arc~en~Ciel album someplace more local than Japan. It's a distant kind of hope, but I have it, nonetheless.

Before, I was thinking about going to the Final Fantasy movie. Now, I am SO going opening night, hehe. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm just as crazy as ever...
