It's all in the mind...
When you decide to let good things happen again, they do.

I just saw a friend I haven't seen in something like a year and a half here at the mall. He's living in Chicago, but visiting home for the holidays. It's always cool to see Ethan!

Our good friend Tony also stopped by and delivered me The Last Samurai poster, which is super awesome of him. I don't care what anyone says, it's a good movie and it has some damn slick poster art.

Ah, and the time goes by and I can post. How lovely is that?

God, I missed being me.

Oh hey btw, I don't know if you've been getting a chance to read many of my entries lately, but you should at least go check out the last one cause I posted a pic of this girl I'm involved with at the moment.

I'll ask her ;-)

She said it's not hers. I asked. Sorry. On an unrelated topic, if you want to enter the Sound + Vision contest on bowienet right now, I found all 4 dates if you want them, but I also don't want to ruin the fun for you of finding them ;-)

no no, i agree, Last Samurai was dope. So dope, that i got offered a job during it ;)

Seriously, though, i thought did a really good job of exploring the issue of Japan's cultural conflict during it's Modernization phase. I'm no expert on their history, but even today there seems to be a very prevalent theme of balancing the importance of tradition with the neccessity of progress.
