Well, I guess I don't have to worry about the snow anymore...

...because David Bowie's got the flu. He won't be playing this weekend. The Bowienet news says our tickets will be good for whatever date they will be moved to, but it won't be for some time, probably.

::sob:: No Bowie for me.
Mood: devistated
Music: David Bowie - Bring Me The Disco King

Hey, just think of your ticket as your very own time-release Bowie caplet. Better than NoDoz, even. Now you got time to save money for swag from the concert you *do* get to go to.

I'd dig it.

the only real problem is guarenteeing the time off to go. baltimore's a good 6-8 hours from here. we were going to visit a friend so we got three days off (in december, at a mall, that's hard to do). we'll need three days at least if we're going to do it again. which might be a problem. especially if it's short notice. which it prolly will be.

You know what's interesting is that no one has bothered to send me an email about it, not Bowienet, not Ticketmaster, no one. It's a damn good thing you saw it.

Dadgummit. Sick? How can that be? Isn't Bowie a vampire of some kind? Men from beyond the stars don't carry germs, do they...?
