Stuff I bought with money from the job I'm bored at now...
I went to Cape Cod for a day and a half with my mother and sister to chill with a family friend of ours and hang out at the beach and the bookstores (as long as a vacation isn't too long, my mother isn't so bad to be around all the time, heh).

One shop had a small selection of books, but it had some other really fun/funny stuff. Included in the cool stuff was a bucket of little magnets with some really good messages on them. Things like, "All Religions are Fairy Tales" and fractal patterns saying "Queen of Chaos". There was one, however, that I just couldn't go home without. It said:

Mommy, when I grow up I want to help smash the white racist, homophobic, patriarchal, bullshit paradigm too!

I only wish it was a pin instead. I suppose my fridge at school deserves a little decoration of its own, though.

I also re-purchased a copy of Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters, because I let someone borrow it my freshman year of college and she lost it. It even has the same cover as the one I had before, which I prefer to the most recent printing's cover.

I bought a little something for the Bibble of my dreams, but I can't tell you about that until I give it to him ^_^

Mood: bored
Music: David Bowie - Scary Monsters (in my head)

Trust in me and i will set your heart on fire,
Why can't you see through my eyes?
Touch me with your soothing hand, my desire
If I don't leave you , ill die
Distant cries of agony, i lay you down upon your bed.
In my eyes i see you burning
Broken dreams of extasy wait to hear your frightened screams.
Never again - hold you.
Never again - touch you.
Never again - live you.
Never again - bother you.
