i'm good!

Enough is Enough...

Even I can get burned-out if I listen to something too much...even David Bowie songs. I don't want to overdo it, but I just can't get anything else to appeal much (and with Brandon and I not seeing each other much due to work and craziness, his usual power to get me out of a rut has weakened). I tried listening to The Streets, Cowboy Bebop music, Modest Mouse, Radiohead...all to no avail. The only thing staying is Bowie, but I don't want to make myself sick of any one album, let alone the whole of his catalogue.

I gotta stop listening to David Bowie.

Specifically, I have to stop listening to Outside.

Specifically, I need to stop getting Strangers When We Meet stuck in my head. I don't know why this one song is staying, but it's been in my head for DAYS ON END. I don't know why...it's not even my favorite song on the album, but it's well-lodged in my brain. I guess if it was good enough for two albums, it should be good enough for my brain, but you know how it is...no matter how good a song is, keep it in your head long enough and it becomes torturous.

A verse of Ugly Casanova's Ice on the Sheets drifted through my head not too long ago at random...maybe I can cultivate it until I can get home and get something else in there.

    Ice on the Strangers?
i'm good!

It never fails...

The mall can be dead quiet, but should I open a book to read, I'll get at least 5 customers. I've been trying to read the last three pages for more than 10 minutes.

Should I decide to play stupid games on the computer, though, no one bothers me.

Does this happen everytime someone opens a book in this country? Because that would explain or illiteracy rate.

    Still nursing the Ugly Casanova...
i'm good!

I AM AN ORPHAN TO THE VALLEY!

I bet some good Xiu Xiu time would knock the Strangers out of my brain...and probably anything else I had in there at the time as well.

That's the kind of stuff I want echoing in the mall.

OH!
