Thanks to an uncle who was cool enough in his youth and cool enough now to send me not only three more CDs of David Bowie (Hunky Dory, Scary Monsters, Tonight), but also three of his own original David Bowie LPs (Hunky Dory, Young Americans, Let's Dance). A most excellent gift indeed!
Thanks to my parents, who got me the towels, bookshelf, and printer that I really needed. That'll save me SO many trips to the library at school, heh.
Thanks to the best little sister ever for a beautiful rice bowl complete with chopsticks and a fuzzy duck-billed dinosaur. Not to mention the adorable GIR patch.
Thanks to my boyfriend's mom for the pajamas I was sad I thought I wouldn't get (I get pjs every year, and it's one of my favorite things. I can always use more.)
And last but certainly not least, thanks to an overly generous boyfriend, I now have nearly 20 hours of Alan Watts on my computer in mp3 format. I'm amazed they got it all on there (It was originally 24 audio CDs). I'm smiling just thinking about it. (Well, that and the afore mentioned boyfriend in the new penguin boxers I bought him. Sorry if that's TMI for anyone, but if you can handle Bowie porn, I figured you could handle that.) As if that wasn't enough, I also have two of the finest shirts in the world. Thank you for everything, and I can't wait to do the last of the unwrapping, hehe.
