while elementary school this week has been pretty good and has some mildly amusing stories to tell, i've also been feeling really under the weather the last few days. just nauseous and headachey and overall plain bleh.

so, tonight, it's a U.S. version of The Office marathon and some tomato soup. hopin' i feel more like a person again tomorrow.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Sorry, I had to.

i held out on watching the US Office for a long time because British shows are always better than the American counterparts.

while the British Office is a better show, i've found i enjoy watching the American one more as a TV comedy. I love Steve Carell in the manager role because i feel like laughing at his stupidity is somehow less painful than the Ricky Gervais version.

That, and the American Jim is cuter than the British Tim.

Yeah, people tell me the American one is worth watching, but I just can't bring myself to do it, since in my mind the whole thing from the get-go is nothing more than an appeal to the ignorance of Americans.

But I can't imagine the American counterpart being cuter than Dawn anyway. She's pretty damn cute.

Plus, I just checked pictures, and Tim is definitely much cuter. And I also know of much cuter Polish guys in general anyway ;-)

The Committee on Deciding Who's Cuter has convened and out-voted you on whether Jim or Tim is cuter, especially since you were basing it off pictures and not full-motion physical comparisons, not having watched both programs. Also, Jim was not in that horrible Hitchhiker movie. The Committee has made its decision.

I've found myself watching and enjoying Office lately which is weird because in the begining I found it to painful to watch. Am I the only one thats finding Dwight oddly likable?

yeah, i think the British version is really painful to watch, and the US episodes that are based on British episodes (mostly in season 1) are the hardest to watch. Dwight is oddly likable, you're not insane, hehe.

hope you feel better, I miss ya! plus I missed your IM. =(

I love The Office. Having never seen the other version (or even hearing of it before now) is perhaps an advantage. but I don't care. you people are a bunch of snobby snobs anyway. =P well not you so much as that other guy. I won't name names.
